I agree that God, as he exists in people’s minds, must have a twisted mind. That is precisely why the customary view is incorrect. That is why we evolve. One experiment at a time, one genetic change at a time. It is easier to understand in relation to our own conscious experiences of sleep and non-existence before birth. In the long haul, it might not matter. We only spin myths to satisfy the need for answers about eternal questions. Notice that I am careful to use the word actualize instead of reality. They mean different things. One denotes an act while the other denotes a real thing. My feeling is that we are emotionally better off to view the world as a play written by no one. Experience is all there is. Some of it will be terrible, and some will be great, no matter what kind of enlightenment we gain or seek. It always comes down to our own lives and how we deal with them emotionally; that defines us.
